Why Dan Purvis Gymnastics?
We are a registered British Gymnastics club offering a range of classes that introduce children to the basics of the sport in a fun and encouraging environment.
Olympic experience
Classes are led by Dan Purvis, an Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth medallist and four-time British Champion.
Safe and qualified
All lead and assisting staff are approved by British Gymnastics, DBS cleared and hold up to date safeguarding and first aid training.
Small groups
Children are taught in small groups so every gymnast receives plenty of personal attention.
Real rewards
Achievable goals through the British Gymnastics Rise award scheme, plus Dan's own intermediate awards.
Our classes
Classes for ages 5 to 15
Our classes run throughout Sefton school term times, normally 11 to 14 weeks. The first session your child attends is a taster session, after which they can decide if they wish to continue.
- Thursdays & Fridays at 5.00pm, 6.00pm and 7.00pm
- Saturdays at 9.00am, 10.00am and 11.00am
- Small groups with lots of personal attention
- British Gymnastics annual membership payable separately
Meet the founder
Meet Dan Purvis
Dan Purvis is one of Great Britain's finest all around gymnasts, having achieved medals at the Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth Games. He is also a four-time British Champion.
Since retiring from competitive gymnastics in 2019, Dan has worked hard to become an elite coach, working with the National Development Squad and elite gymnasts. He remains passionate about recreational gymnastics and always leads the classes your child could attend.
